Sell Us Your Books
Maybe you need the shelf space, maybe you already have two copies,
maybe you’ve committed it all to memory,
maybe you want to contribute to book recycling,
or maybe you just feel you’re finally ready to let go…
We’ll buy your book back.
How do I sell my books?
Make a list of the books you want to sell (tell us the title, author, and condition of the book) and drop off your list at the store or send it through our Contact Form. We will look at your list and let you know (usually within a week) which books we want and make you an offer.
What kinds of books do you buy?
We buy all sorts of books. It might be more helpful to mention what we will not buy –-
Heavily damaged books
Encyclopedias
Textbooks
And because we don’t have a technical section just yet, we also do not buy technical/computer books.
How much do you usually pay for a book?
What we pay for a book depends mostly on condition, demand, and availability at the store. We normally offer a cash amount that is about a quarter of the price we expect to realize for the book. You can also opt for forty-five per cent in store credit. Please note that we are not an antiquarian or collectible bookstore and are not adequately equipped to appraise rare, special, or first editions.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: At the moment, we have filled our quota of used books on our shelves. Because of this, you may still sell your books at our store, but we will only be accepting them on a consignment basis.
If you would like to sell us your books on consignment, please drop by the store with your books and two paper copies of your book list with space for indicating the price of your books.
This page will be updated if there are any changes to this policy.
