About Us
Booktopia is a friendly, little (size is relative!) bookstore that has been serving its community in Quezon City in the Philippines since 2003. We like books and we like people and we like bringing books and people together, that’s what we do. We also have some magazines and those cute, little, fun stuff children like to fiddle with, but mostly it’s books we deal with.
We don’t claim to know everything about books but we do know something about them, which is always a good thing because that seems to make the people who come to the store happy. Choosing books to put in our store is always a challenge but we assure you that aside from the regular bestsellers, we have books you’ve never heard of, or heard of but have never seen, or heard of but never expected to find in a local bookstore. In other words, books that will surprise you by their being there on our shelves. That also seems to make people happy. What also seems to make people happy is that if you’re looking for a particular book and we don’t have it, we try our very best to find it for you. We’ll call people, write to them, beseech publishers and booksellers around the world to send us a copy of the book you are looking for.
Our bookstore sounds like a happy place, doesn’t it? Then you must come and see us. We’ve provided a map for you below.
Hours and Location
11am - 9pm Everyday
Booktopia is closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, All Souls’ Day, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday.
Special hours for 2007 holidays:
December 24 11am - 5pm
December 31 11am - 5pm
We are located on the ground floor of the Intrepid Plaza building along C-5 in Quezon City. Please refer to the location map below.
If you are familiar with Eastwood City, we are actually not inside the compound, but the Intrepid Plaza building is just next to the entrance to Eastwood so you shouldn’t miss it. We are in the same building as the Mini Stop convenience store and there is only one along C-5 (so far).
If you are arriving by car, there are parking spaces in front of the store. If you can’t park there, the building also has spacious basement parking. The entrance to the basement parking area is right after Mini Stop.

Press
We’ve been talked about in newspapers, magazines, over the internet, and even on TV! Here are just some of the things people have said about us…
